Climbing Mount Everest: Episode 42

I share my experience of climbing Mount Everest at the 29029 event.

What is it like to climb Everest? I can’t see myself ever doing that, so I attended an event called 29029, which was put on by Jesse Itzler. It’s about simulating what it’s like to climb Mount Everest, which is at 29,029 feet. They do it all over the country, but I decided to do it in Stratton, Vermont because I heard it was beautiful out there. Stratton is 1,750 feet, so the idea was to hike that mountain 17 times in 36 hours, which ends up being the equivalent to hiking Mount Everest. This event really challenged me physically and mentally.
