Harbison Canyon is a neighborhood in the eastern portion of the city of El Cajon, California. It is located in a canyon between Crest and Alpine. The community was named after John Stewart Harbison, who was a beekeeper and at the time was the largest producer of honey in the world.

Harbison Canyon is best known among locals for the presence of Old Ironsides Park, maintained by the County of San Diego Parks and Recreation. Kumeyaay Indian relics can be found near the stream that runs through the park and Canyon. The park also has a community center building where community and civic groups meet.
The Harbison Canyon community is served by the Grossmont Union High School District, Alpine Union Elementary School District, and Cajon Valley Union School District. The schools in the area include Shadow Hills Elementary School, Los Coches Creek Middle School, and Valhalla High School.
